With the new year comes, perhaps as a sheer coincidence, changes in where my art is on exhibit locally. (By locally, for my dear national and international readers, I'm talking about the New Braunfels/Canyon Lake area, which is sandwiched between San Antonio and Austin in central Texas.) So currently, here's where you can find me...
In New Braunfels, my work is, of course, always on display in my Casa de Linda Art Gallery and Studio. I'm open by appointment, but a good place to start is with my online gallery, then call or e-mail me and let me know what you are interested in. Select peices of my work are also on display in the New Braunfels Art League Gallery. This is a wonderful co-op gallery and is open every day. They have just launched a new-n-improved website so check it out at www.newbraunfelsartleague.com. I have rotated out of Two Rivers Coffee in New Braunfels.
At Canyon Lake, my wildflowers are being featured at a new coffee shop, Cup O' Joe, located north of the lake in Hancock. No website, but you can find them at 18100 FM 306 Suite 120; phone 830-935-4004. Tell them I sent you!
Most timely news for the Canyon Lake area is that both my work and photography by my husband, David, are being featured in a special exhibit at a little gallery in Sattler, appropriately named Sattler Artisans' Alley. It's located at 1381 Sattler Road, next to Super S Foods; phone 830-964-3609.
And if you are in the area next Sunday, Jan. 27, drop by the Sattler Artisans' Alley for our MEET THE ARTISTS reception from 2-5 p.m.
I'm also still being represented at Art, Frame and Beyond in San Antonio (Stone Oak area), Gallery on the Square in Wimberley and have some work in the giftshop at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center in Austin.
Hope to see you soon!

Looks like you're very busy! Good luck in all of your shows.
So glad you stopped by... and then left such a nice compliment! Thank you, Linda. I LOVE "South Texas Tapestry", my dear. Just beautiful.
Hope to see you soon!
I stumbled over your blog this morning and the wildflower images have been with me all day. I get so excited when I see women of the West building an art community, teaching artists, building an art audience and then having the gall to figure out the internet too! I love it thank you for doing what you do for art!
I was having a little trouble with the comment so hope you don't get this twice.

Thanks for the comment Lori -- that was the nicest comment I've ever had posted from someone I didn't know! I don't know if you'll see this...unless you pop in again and read the comments. But if you do, feel free to e-mail me at linda@casadelinda.com. Again, thanks!
