Art Classes for KIDS

WEDNESDAY ART AFTER SCHOOL for ages 8-12 starts this Wednesday. The first 3-week course will be all about drawing. Meets 4-5:30 p.m. in my original studio above the New Braunfels Art League Gallery. Fee is $95, which includes all supplies and daily snacks.
The next SATURDAY MORNING ART for ages 6-9 course will begin on Sept. 25. The topic for this 3-week course is "Experimenting with Paint: Drip-N-Drizzle." This class is tons of fun and give kids a chance to get creative while learning about color harmony and technique. Meets 10-12 a.m. in my original studio above the New Braunfels Art League Gallery. Fee is $95, which includes all supplies and daily snacks.
The Stained Glass Fun and Basic Photography September classes have been postponed. We are now enrolling for the October dates as follows:
Stained Glass Fun for ages 10-16 with Lynette Clauser: Saturdays Oct. 2, 9, 16 and 23 from 10-11:30 a.m.. Fee is $125, which includes all supplies and use of tools and daily snacks. Class is limited to 6 students and is already starting to fill up! Meets at the new Casa de Linda Art Center location on South Business I-35.
Basic Photography for ages 8-12 with David Jacobson: Tuesdays afterschool Oct. 5, 12 and 19 from 4-5:30 p.m.. Fee is $95 and includes use of camera during class, CD of all images taken, two enlarged prints with mats and daily snacks. Meets at the original studio above the New Braunfels Art League Gallery; limited to 4 students.
Basic Painting for ages 10-16. These on-going classes meet Thursdays after school and Saturdays 1-3 p.m. at the new Casa de Linda Art Center. Students can start at anytime. Contact me for more information.
Art Classes for ADULTS

Choose from weekday/evening or Saturday morning for David's BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY class. The weekday class starts Thursday, Sept. 16 and is held from 5-7 p.m. The Saturday class starts Sept. 18 and is held from 8-10 a.m. Fee for either 3-week course is $125, which includes use of camera during class, a CD of all images, 3 enlargements and mats. Enrollment is limited to 4 students.
Want to try something new and different? Join us for EXPERIMENTAL PAINTING: TEXTURES. Classes start this Friday, Sept. 17. Meets 1:30-4 p.m. for 3 weeks at the new Casa de Linda Art Center. Fee is $135 which includes ALL paints, canvases and supplies.
The on-going BASIC PAINTING classes are filling up! I still have a few spaces open in the Thursday afternoon 12:30-3 class. I can take one more in each of the night classes (Wed or Thurs, 6-8:30 p.m.) The Friday morning class is full! We paint in acrylics and everyone starts off with a landscape. If you've always wanted to try watercolor painting, the class starting next Monday is just for you. INTRO TO WATERCOLOR with Maren Phillips starts Monday, Sept. 20. Runs for 4 weeks, meeting 6-8 p.m. Fee is $175 which includes all supplies. Classes are held at the new Casa de Linda Art Center. Call me at 830-624-5302 NOW if you'd like to join this class.
We have postponed the Stained Glass and Papier Mache classes scheduled to start this week. We are now enrolling for October as follows:
BASIC STAINED GLASS with Lynette Clauser: Mondays 9-11:30 a.m. starting Oct. 18 and Tuesdays 6:30-9 p.m. starting Oct. 19. Fee is $195 which includes ALL supplies and use of tools. Seating is limited to 6 students.
THE FINE ART OF PAPIER MACHE with yours truly, Linda Jacobson: Fridays 1:30-4 p.m. starting Oct. 8. Fee is $125 and all supplies are included. Enrollment is limited to 6 students. Come make and paint a large gecko!
