NEW CHILDREN'S ART CLASSES STARTING SOON

If you've seen the schedule for Children's Art Classes at our studios in New Braunfels, then you know that something new is starting up every few weeks! That's certainly true of the next few weeks with painting, photography and stained glass on the schedule.

SATURDAY MORNING ART FOR AGES 6-9
Saturdays 10 a.m.-12 noon, Sept. 25, Oct. 2, 9

The next course is "Experimenting with Paint" and will be so much fun! This is a variation of one of my most popular summer art camps. Kids will drip, drizzle, squish and smear paint. But that's not all...they will also be learning about some of the elements and principles of design while they play!
This sunset is one of the projects that they will complete during this 3-week course. Fee is $95, all supplies and daily snacks included. Limited to 8 students.

STAINED GLASS FUN FOR CHILDREN AGES 10-16 WITH LYNETTE CLAUSER
Saturdays 10-11:30 a.m., Oct. 2, 9, 16 and 23

Lynette will teach the students about project design, wrapping, soldering, glass cutting and so much more in this 4-week course. Fee is $125, which includes all supplies, use of tools and daily snacks. Seating limited to 6 students.

BASIC PHOTOGRAPHY FOR CHILDREN AGES 8-12 WITH DAVID JACOBSON
Tuesdays after school 4-5:30 p.m. on Oct. 5, 12 and 19

David will take the mystery out of how to use the preset modes and manual settings common to most digital cameras while also teaching the students about composition, perspective and lighting. Fee is $95, which includes use of camera during class, a CD of all images shot, two enlargements with mats and daily snacks. Enrollment limited to 4 students.

WEDNESDAY ART AFTER SCHOOL FOR AGES 8-12
Wednesdays 4-5:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 13 and 20
PAINT ALONG: AUTUMN LANDSCAPE

My oh-so-popular paint along class for kids is back! This time we are painting an Autumn Landscape on a large 16x20 canvas! Fee is $95, which includes the canvas, all supplies and daily snacks. Limited to 8 students!

I like the artwork, that could work as a funky deckchair!
